Where is Heritage Square Park?

It is located in downtown Phoenix next to the new Convention Center and just one block north of Chase Field. It is very close to the intersection of 7th Street & Monroe.

What time is the Rainbows Festival?

The Rainbows Festival & Street Fair opens at 10am on both days... and closes at 6pm.

Where do I park?

All around the area are several parking garages. These all charge an event parking fee. There is parking for 15,000 cars within five blocks of the event.

Is there an admission fee for the Rainbows Festival?

This is a free admission event. There will be authorized donation buckets at each entrance for individuals who wish to make a donation to AIDS Walk 2008.

What kind of food is served?

There is a great selection of on site prepared food at the event. There are also several areas where tables and chairs are setup for guest dining.

Is the event ADA friendly?

Yes, there are even porta potty setups specifically for ADA patrons.

Is the event pet friendly?

The event is in a city park, so yes pets are permitted. Your dog must be on a leash, and you are responsible for cleanup. You need to be aware that the streets get very crowded with thousands of attendees, so make sure your dog is very comfortable w/ large and compressed crowds.

When was the Rainbows Festival created?

The first Rainbows Festival was in 2002 as a one day event. In 2004, the event expanded to a two day festival.

How many people will be at the Rainbows Festival?

Last year, there were over 25,000 guests at the event during the two days of the annual Rainbows Festival.

The best way for your company to be involved is to be a part of the Partnership Program. The details are on the website or email don@rainbowsfestival.com

I would like to promote my business…what do I need to do?

You can complete the online application to be an exhibitor at the annual Rainbows Festival. You can complete the website application and pay by credit card or we can invoice your business for payment.

Can I walk the street fair and handout information?

No. The event is a private event. Only businesses that have purchased a space at the event are permitted to promote their business, in their assigned exhibitor/partner space.

Is there alcohol served at the event?

Yes, this is an alcohol served event. Each guest that plans to consume alcohol will need to have their ID checked and to be wrist banded. Tickets for alcohol are $5 each and can be redeemed for Bud Light beer, Smirnoff vodka and Jose Cuervo margarita products.
